This is my husband's newest vehicle. It is a 1972 Buick Riviera Boat Tail. The lines of this car are simply beautiful, the way that it curves and flows. This is what cars used to look like, back when cars were actually designed with the basics of art in mind. True, the cars these days are still beautiful but none seem to be able to live up to how they USED to be made. So many times I have heard 'They don't make cars like they used to...' In many ways that is a good thing...but in others it is not. We are missing the elegant beauty of these machines because people want something 'edgy' or 'mean'. Whatever happened to the simple lines and beauty of an Impala? Or the sexy lines of a Cadillac? Or the speed of a Corvette? The cars that looked like they were going 50 mph when they were standing still?
Forgive the rant, I just wanted you to understand why there are so many vehicles in my Gallery. It is more than just the fact that we are proud of the ones we have. It is the history and the beauty that these machines represent.
People see the consequences instead of the art. They will not care for what it is, as long as it has incredible speed, or will mark attention on them, and them only. That's not art, thats egotistical. You will not see many artistic vehicles nowadays anyway...
It scares me how much people are blinded to the beauty of the world because of their obsession with 'me'.

'Someone once told me that time is a predator that stalks us all our lives. I like to think that time is a companion that goes with us on our journey and reminds us to savor every moment, for it will never come again.'
Yup. But then, can you imagine a world purely artistical? Life would lose of it's balance, being purely out of control, as long as it's design become beauty of heart. In other words, not everybody sees art the same way, thus making the world a far worst place than it is now.
We need blind idiots like we need laws. pathetic, no? ; )
LOL!! Yes, it is. To think that it is those idiots with 'Too much bloody money' that make the world so diverse. Still, it is like they always say...you need the bad to know how good the good really is.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
